Kedar Ravangave has stepped down as Head of Marketing at Kotak Mahindra Bank, concluding a nearly two-year stint with the private sector lender.
Ravangave joined the bank in July 2024 after spending close to a decade at Amazon India. During his tenure, he led marketing for the consumer and commercial banking businesses, focusing on brand strategy, customer engagement and business growth.
Among the key initiatives under his leadership was the launch of Kotak Mahindra Bank's new brand philosophy, ‘Hausla Hai Toh Ho Jayega’, unveiled in 2025. The integrated campaign aimed to reposition the bank around the aspirations of a new generation of consumers.
He also played a role in strengthening the bank's data-led marketing capabilities, driving initiatives around AI, automation and outcome-based media planning to improve personalisation and marketing effectiveness.
Before joining Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ravangave spent more than nine years at Amazon India, where he held several senior marketing roles across Amazon India, Prime, Amazon Pay, Amazon Fashion and Amazon Fresh. During his tenure, he contributed to the launch of initiatives such as Amazon Prime in India, Amazon Pay, Amazon Fresh and the Great Indian Festival.
Earlier in his career, Ravangave worked at Marico, managing brands including Parachute Coconut Oil and Parachute Advanced Jasmine, and began his professional journey with Wipro Technologies.
His next move has not been announced. According to sources familiar with the matter, Ravangave is evaluating multiple leadership opportunities.
