Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have launched an exciting new fan engagement initiative called Knight Bite. The long-term digital series, in partnership with TTK Prestige, India's leading kitchen appliances brand, promises to bring fans closer to their favourite players through food.
The series kicked off on March 30 with its first episode of #Let'sGetCooking with Knight Bite, a five-episode show hosted by celebrity chef Kunal Kapur. In each episode, KKR players step into the kitchen, cooking, chatting, and competing in fun challenges, offering fans a glimpse into their lives beyond the cricket field.
"We are thrilled to bring it to life with TTK Prestige. It’s more than just a series—it’s a way to showcase our players' personalities beyond the field while celebrating something that brings us all together: the love of food," says Binda Dey, Group Chief Marketing Officer of Knight Riders Sports.
Mr. Venkatesh Vijayaraghavan, MD & CEO of TTK Prestige, spoke about the collaboration, saying, "Cricket and food have a way of bringing people together, and ‘Knight Bite’ is a perfect fusion of both. At TTK Prestige, we’ve been a part of Indian kitchens for decades, making cooking effortless and enjoyable for generations. This collaboration with KKR allows us to reimagine the kitchen as a space of fun, energy, and shared experiences—just like the game itself."
The series not only highlights KKR's players' culinary skills but also blends the passions of cricket and food, bringing fans an entertaining mix of camaraderie, competition, and humour. With the use of TTK Prestige’s cutting-edge kitchen appliances, cooking becomes a playful and enjoyable experience.
Over the next year, Knight Bite will evolve into a year-long programme, including special events, workshops, and exclusive merchandise for select fans. Stay tuned for more exciting fan-focused content throughout the season.
