Kora by NM, founded by Nilesh Chhadva and Mitesh Sumbad, has named actor Aditya Roy Kapur as its new brand face. The association marks a new chapter for the contemporary Indian occasionwear brand as it builds its positioning around the idea of 'For Your Every Celebration'.
The campaign centres on the many ways the modern Indian man celebrates, from traditional occasions to personal milestones and moments of togetherness. Through the association, Kora aims to highlight the role of personal style in these occasions and bring its brand philosophy to life.
Kapur’s charm, confidence and understated style align with the brand’s interpretation of the 'Kora Man'. The association reflects Kora’s approach to Indian dressing, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes and an emphasis on individual expression.
With Kapur at the centre, the campaign explores celebration as a way of life, bringing together the emotions associated with meaningful occasions and the confidence that comes with dressing authentically. It also reflects the brand’s ambition to be part of the moments that matter to men across a wider range of occasionwear needs.
The campaign is supported by Kora’s new occasionwear collection, which features kurtas, bandi sets, Jodhpuri, Nawabi and Indo Western ensembles. The collection uses a palette of classic black, warm creams, ivory and deeper tones, with Indian craftsmanship and contemporary silhouettes shaping its design direction.
Speaking about the association, Kora by NM founders Nilesh Chhadva and Mitesh Sumbad said, “Celebration has always been at the heart of KORA, and our vision is to be part of every moment that matters to the modern Indian man. Aditya Roy Kapur embodies the charm, confidence and individuality that define the KORA Man. As we continue to grow and evolve, this association marks an exciting new chapter for us, bringing our philosophy of ‘For Your Every Celebration’ to life.”
Kora currently operates 31 stores across India, the UK and Dubai, and is set to open in the USA. The association with Kapur comes as the brand looks to strengthen its visibility and expand its presence across domestic and international markets.
