Krisp today announced the appointment of Vimal Nair as Chief Growth Officer, India, as it expands its presence in the country’s BPM market.

India is a major hub for global customer support, where voice remains a primary channel for customer experience. As enterprises increase expectations around clarity, consistency and agent productivity, Voice AI is being adopted as infrastructure within the BPM sector. In his role, Nair will focus on expanding partnerships with BPO and BPM organisations, as well as with technology teams developing voice delivery systems.

“India is at the center of global customer support, and voice is still the system of record for CX,” said Davit Baghdasaryan, CEO and Co-Founder of Krisp. “As expectations rise, Voice AI is becoming core infrastructure for service providers. Vimal’s leadership deepens our partnerships in the region and accelerates that shift.”

Krisp said building a local presence in India is part of its strategy to support enterprises and service providers operating in the BPM ecosystem.

Nair has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and SaaS across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other markets. His background includes roles in growth, customer success and international expansion within IT services and AI software companies, including work on Voice AI and agent-based solutions for customer support.

“Krisp addresses a real and visible challenge for the Indian BPM ecosystem,” said Nair. “Voice remains the most critical channel in customer service, and improving clarity at scale directly impacts CX quality, agent performance, and global competitiveness. I look forward to partnering with leaders across India as they strengthen voice as a strategic layer of CX.”

Krisp’s Voice AI platform is used by enterprises to improve speech clarity and provide real-time voice intelligence. The company said its expanded presence in India is intended to support organisations delivering customer support services globally.
