Collective Artists Network has appointed Kshitij Mehta, Partner at the company, to lead its motion pictures business along with Ratpack Stories, a content vertical under Collective Studios.
Collective Studios brings together the company’s original content efforts across platforms and formats, and includes Ratpack Stories, Terribly Tiny Tales and Historyverse. Ratpack Stories operates as the film production arm, focused on projects for theatrical and streaming platforms.
In his expanded role, Mehta will oversee the motion pictures slate, including literary and casting, and the development of original projects under Ratpack Stories. He will work with filmmakers, talent represented by Collective, and industry partners.
Speaking on the announcement, Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO, Collective Artists Network, said, “Kshitij has been instrumental in shaping how we think about films and long-term creative partnerships. As we build Collective Studios into a home for distinct storytelling verticals, it was important for Ratpack Stories to have clear leadership and intent. Kshitij brings both creative instinct and operational clarity to that role.”
Kshitij Mehta, Partner, Collective Artists Network, added, “Ratpack Stories is about backing strong voices and building films with intent and ambition. Leading motion pictures alongside Ratpack allows us to approach projects more cohesively, from talent to storytelling to execution, while staying true to the kind of work we want to put into the world.”
The appointment is part of Collective Artists Network’s approach to developing content verticals under Collective Studios, each with defined leadership and scope.
