Liminal Custody, a leading wallet infrastructure and digital asset custody platform, has appointed Chakravarthi Muppalla as its Chief Product Officer (CPO). In his new role, Muppalla will lead Liminal’s product strategy and innovation roadmap, focusing on secure, scalable, and compliance-ready solutions for institutional digital asset management.
Muppalla brings over a decade of global experience in cloud, SaaS, AI, and blockchain, having worked with top technology companies including Microsoft, Salesforce, Coinbase, and most recently Chorus One, where he led the development of OPUS, a multi-chain staking and restaking platform.
His background across traditional enterprise technology and emerging decentralized finance positions him to drive Liminal’s mission of building trust-first, regulated digital asset infrastructure.
Mahin Gupta, Founder of Liminal Custody, said, “Chakravarthi’s appointment marks an important step in Liminal’s evolution as we expand our product suite and scale across new markets. His experience across Web2 and Web3 ecosystems brings a rare blend of technical depth and user-centric thinking that aligns perfectly with our vision of simplifying digital asset management for enterprises globally.”
Commenting on his appointment, Chakravarthi Muppalla said, “Digital asset infrastructure today is at the same inflection point that cloud computing was a decade ago. Institutions want reliability, compliance, and performance before they can truly scale. At Liminal, I’m excited to build products that bridge that gap, making digital asset custody as seamless and trusted as any traditional financial system.”
Under Muppalla’s leadership, Liminal Custody aims to deepen its focus on institutional-grade innovation, modular product design, and interoperability — empowering enterprises, fintechs, and exchanges to securely navigate the evolving world of digital finance.
