Maybelline New York and Snapchat Launch ‘MNY Look Studio’ for Festive Season

Maybelline New York, in partnership with Snapchat, has introduced MNY Look Studio, an AR-powered beauty platform designed specifically for India’s festive season. According to the brands, the experience is intended to inspire creativity and confidence, helping users explore, experiment, and express themselves for various occasions.

Developed by Snapchat’s in-house innovation studio,
MNY Look Studio is described as placing professional makeup tools at users’ fingertips, enabling them to create, save, and share looks digitally. The brand claims it functions as a virtual makeup artist, assisting users in discovering festive-ready looks and identifying Maybelline products to replicate them.

The platform, launching ahead of India’s festival season, is set to feature AR makeup experiences for occasions including Navratri, Diwali, and Pujo. As claimed by Maybelline, it aims to combine global artistry with Indian cultural expression, allowing users to experiment with bold and creative looks.

 Key features highlighted by the brand include:

  • Festive Looks: Four AR makeup styles inspired by Diwali, Temple Look, Navratri, and Pujo traditions.
  • Personalized Color Analysis: A tool that analyzes skin undertones to recommend suitable shades.
  • Simplified, Inclusive Design: An updated interface to enhance usability for all users.
  • Future Updates: Additional looks planned for release in October to keep the platform relevant.
