McDonald’s India (North & East) has introduced a cab branding campaign across major cities to promote its latest menu item, ‘The Ranveer Singh Meal’. The initiative features branded cabs showcasing visuals of brand ambassador Ranveer Singh along with the McDonald’s Golden Arches.
More than 400 cabs have been deployed in Delhi, NCR, Lucknow, and Kolkata. The campaign has been routed through high-footfall areas such as India Gate, Noida Sector 18, MG Road Gurugram, Mani Square, Hazrat Ganj, and Gomti Nagar, with a focus on reaching urban youth, students, and professionals.
Inspired by the global Famous Orders platform, the campaign extends the recent announcement of Ranveer Singh as the brand ambassador. The cab branding highlights customer affinity for McDonald’s menu items in a street-level format.
The limited-period meal, available across all McDonald’s outlets in North and East India, includes:
- Choice of McVeggie or McChicken (Xplode): Burgers with a new chilli and creamy Xplode sauce, topped with crispy onions
- Golden Crispy Pops: Bite-sized potato snacks
- Bobaaa Blast drink: A drink with boba pearls
Speaking about the initiative, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “The Ranveer Singh Meal is inspired by fan truths and rooted in nostalgia, fun and what our customers love most about McDonald’s – great tasting food.”
He added, “With this campaign, we’re taking the excitement beyond restaurants, straight to the streets – bringing fans closer to their favourites, and to Ranveer Singh, in an unexpected way.”
