Lava International Managing Director Sunil Raina and Chief Financial Officer Rajesh Sethi have decided to step down from their respective positions at the Indian handset maker as the company looks to secure fresh capital and revive business growth.
The company has acknowledged Sethi’s contributions as CFO, noting his role in supporting its financial operations and business priorities. Co-founder Hari Om Rai, who stepped down as managing director in 2023, has returned to the position, marking a leadership change as Lava seeks to strengthen its business.
The changes come as the company looks to capitalise on opportunities in the sub-Rs 20,000 smartphone segment while exploring fresh funding avenues and strategies to drive growth.
