Miami Ad School has been awarded the title of “Future School of the Year 2025” by Cannes Lions, The Wall Street Journal and AKQA. The award recognises the school with the highest number of shortlisted Future Lions entries globally, highlighting student work that uses technology to address real-world issues.
The selection was made from leading creative schools across the world. The recognition positions Miami Ad School as an institution where design, strategy, content, digital marketing and AI are integrated into career-focused training.
“This award isn’t for the past, it’s for the future,” said Raj Kamble, Founder of Miami Ad School India and Founder & CCO of Famous Innovations. “It’s for every misfit, dreamer, and creator who believes they don’t need a degree to change the world, just an idea, and a school that believes in it.”
With campuses in New York, Berlin, Mexico City, Mumbai and Bengaluru, Miami Ad School trains students through a model that combines classroom sessions with live briefs, mentorship and brand engagement.
Students at the school are introduced early to brief-based learning, strategy and tools including generative AI. Graduates build portfolios that have earned recognition at D&AD, One Show, Young Guns and Cannes Lions.
“We’re not here to just teach advertising,” Kamble added. “We’re here to help young people find their voice, and make it impossible to ignore.”
Miami Ad School India has expanded its offering to include bootcamps, corporate training and short-term programmes aimed at working professionals. It is also developing partnerships to reach underrepresented creative talent, including college students, returning women professionals, legacy companies and public skilling platforms.
“The industry doesn’t just need more talent. It needs future-ready thinkers who can lead, adapt, and create at scale,” said Raj Kamble. “That’s who we train. That’s why this award matters.”
