Mobavenue, an AI-powered AdTech and Consumer Growth company, has appointed Ben John, VP Engineering, Microsoft AI, to its Advisory Board. In this role, Ben will act as a strategic advisor, supporting the company in advancing AI-led innovation, developing its technology architecture, and guiding its global go-to-market initiatives.
Ben has more than two decades of experience in building large-scale platforms and is recognised as a leader in the AI and advertising technology sector. At Microsoft, he leads the AI CoPilot data platform, focusing on personalised AI experiences for consumers and enterprise partners. He previously served as CTO at AppNexus, where he oversaw its merger with AT&T in 2018 and later co-founded Xandr. In 2022, he played a key role in the sale of Xandr to Microsoft and the integration of Microsoft Ads with Xandr, as well as contributing to the Microsoft–Netflix advertising partnership.
Ben holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specialising in machine learning and big data mining. He is also the founder of the Invest to Impact Network Foundation (ITOI), a non-profit organisation that uses technology for social impact.
