Mobec’s new campaign promotes EV adoption, sustainability, and a circular economy, aligning with Delhi’s extended EV policy for 2025

Mobec Launches #PledgeForChange Campaign to Boost EV Adoption

Mobec, a leading provider of EV charging solutions, has launched its #PledgeForChange campaign, aiming to drive electric vehicle adoption, sustainability, and circular economy practices in 2025. This initiative comes in response to the Delhi Government’s extension of its Electric Vehicle (EV) Policy until March 2025, furthering the city’s efforts to combat air pollution and encourage clean transportation.

Mobec fully supports the policy extension, recognising it as a crucial step towards a cleaner future. The #PledgeForChange campaign demonstrates Mobec’s ongoing commitment to overcoming challenges in the EV ecosystem and advancing sustainable mobility solutions.

Over the past year, Mobec has introduced several key innovations, including portable, fast-charging solutions that alleviate EV range anxiety and enhance accessibility. The company also launched large-scale Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to improve energy efficiency beyond just EVs. Furthermore, Mobec’s Battery Second Life programme refurbishes used EV batteries for secondary applications, while advanced Black Mass Reduction techniques recycle batteries into reusable raw materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel, supporting a circular economy and reducing environmental pollution.

Looking ahead, Mobec is focusing on four main areas to increase sustainability under the #PledgeForChange initiative:

  1. Circular Economy: Increasing the use of recycled materials in production.
  2. Advanced Recycling: Expanding black mass recycling to recover valuable metals.
  3. AI Integration: Implementing AI to optimise recycling processes.
  4. EV Infrastructure: Innovating charging and storage solutions that align with sustainability goals.

Despite significant progress in EV sales and infrastructure, Mobec acknowledges the challenges ahead in scaling infrastructure and improving cost efficiency. The company’s efforts align with India’s 2030 sustainability targets, which include achieving 30% EV penetration, net-zero carbon emissions in transportation, and reducing urban air pollution.
