Havells India has unveiled its latest South India campaign featuring actor-director duo, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan. The campaign, ‘No Hero like Havells’ uses a role-reversal to depict the unique experiences of both an actor and a director during a shoot.
Developed for Southern Markets, the films bring the real-life couple to the screen, highlighting their chemistry and playful banter as they navigate everyday moments with support from the Hexo Mixer Grinder and Epic BLDC+ Fans—demonstrating how Havells helps keep life cool, comfortable, and in control. The campaign has been conceptualised by the MullenLowe Lintas Group.
The first film opens with Nayanthara in her element — a focused director giving Vignesh a clear brief for the next shot. But before the scene can unfold, she is interrupted by Vignesh, who, already claiming exhaustion, demands a glass of apple juice. What follows is the first in a series of playful tantrums, escalating from a coconut shake to a perfectly crisp dosa served with ten different chutneys. Unfazed and in complete control, Nayanthara meets each request with remarkable speed and precision, thanks to her trusted on-set ally, the Hexo Mixer Grinder. Impressed by Nayanthara's flawless execution and the Hexo Mixer Grinder’s quiet efficiency, Vignesh delivers the perfect shot — his expression paying a genuine tribute to the real star behind the scenes.
In the second film, the role reversal continues as Nayanthara and Vignesh showcase how the Epic BLDC+ fan helps them stay cool and composed amidst a long day on shoot. Their lighthearted banter brings a sense of warmth and relatability, effortlessly blending smart technology with everyday comfort. Powered by the advanced BLDC+ Inverter Technology, the fan offers up to 65% energy savings and can be activated or adjusted with a simple “Hello Havells” direct voice command.
