NetApp has announced the appointment of Syam Nair as its new Chief Product Officer (CPO), effective Monday, 7 July 2025. Nair takes over from Harv Bhela, who concluded his tenure in June.
Nair joins NetApp from Zscaler, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Research & Development. He brings over 25 years of experience in engineering and product development, including roles at Microsoft and Salesforce. At Microsoft, he was involved in the global expansion of Azure data services, and at Salesforce, he contributed to the development of Salesforce Data Cloud.
In his new role at NetApp, Nair will lead the product and engineering teams, focusing on hybrid cloud and AI offerings.
