Nexus Select Malls has launched a Women’s Day campaign encouraging women to take time for themselves and focus on what makes them happy.
Titled ‘Carry Only Shopping Bags’, the campaign focuses on the idea that many women today are financially independent and confident in their choices, including spending on themselves.
The campaign features a key visual showing a woman walking ahead carrying shopping bags. The visual highlights the idea that women managing multiple roles and expectations should also have the freedom to prioritise their own interests.
The campaign also includes two short digital films presented in a product-led format that acknowledge the spending power of women. The films present shopping as a form of self-reward and personal choice. The campaign will be promoted across Nexus Malls’ digital platforms, in-mall installations and retail activations across its portfolio.

Speaking about the campaign, Nishank Joshi, Chief Marketing Officer, Nexus Select Malls, said: “Women today are more independent, decisive and confident about how they spend their time and money. As marketers, we felt the conversation around Women’s Day often becomes overly sentimental and misses this very real shift. Our campaign acknowledges a simple truth, that for many women, choosing to spend on themselves is not indulgence, it is independence. At Nexus Select Malls, we wanted to celebrate that spirit in a way that feels contemporary, relatable and rooted in everyday behaviour.”
Through the campaign, Nexus Malls said it aims to recognise women and the choices they make for themselves, encouraging them to take a break from everyday routines and engage in activities they enjoy.
