In celebration of International Women’s Day, Nuvama Wealth hosted the inaugural “Women Entrepreneurs (WE) Bazaar” at Kanakia Wall Street, Mumbai, as part of its Blue Bindi Programme. This event aimed to empower women entrepreneurs by providing them with exposure, mentorship, and business support.
Launched five years ago, the Blue Bindi Programme focuses on women's empowerment and financial literacy. Since its inception, the programme has reached over one million women across India, both through offline and digital platforms, offering engaging content and interactive events.
The WE Bazaar, a daylong event, showcased 11 women entrepreneurs, each selected from more than 100 entries. These businesses spanned diverse categories, including handcrafted jewellery, gourmet confectioneries, and unique lifestyle products, all reflecting innovation, ambition, and personal journeys.
Among the participants, three businesses—Harsh Chocolates, The Patina Company, and NutriCastle—were selected for long-term support from Nuvama. This further underlines Nuvama’s commitment to nurturing women entrepreneurs. Through Blue Bindi, Nuvama has empowered over 1,000 women with financial tools, resulting in tangible growth and opportunities.
Rahul Jain, President & Head of Nuvama Wealth, spoke about the initiative, saying, “At Nuvama, we believe that financial knowledge is a key driver of empowerment. WE Bazaar is a celebration of women’s entrepreneurial spirit, providing them with the resources, support, and mentorship needed to scale their ventures and make their businesses independent and sustainable. Through our Blue Bindi Programme, we continue to equip women with financial knowledge and confidence, empowering them to take control of their financial future.”
