OPPO India Launches 'Aawara Life' Campaign with Ranbir Kapoor for Reno14 Series

OPPO India has launched a new campaign titled ‘Live the Aawara Life’ to promote its upcoming Reno14 Series. The campaign features a teaser film with actor Ranbir Kapoor and draws inspiration from classic cinema, reinterpreting the 'Aawara Hoon' theme with a contemporary approach.

The campaign was released across OPPO India’s social media platforms. The film begins in black and white, evoking a vintage aesthetic, before transitioning to colour. Kapoor appears in an Aawara-inspired look, and the shift in visuals is used to connect the past with the present. The film also includes an interview segment where Kapoor discusses the meaning of the ‘Aawara Life’ and how the Reno14 Series complements that perspective.

Commenting on the campaign, Sushant Vashistha, Head of Product and Digital Marketing, OPPO India, said: “At OPPO, we build technology that helps people stay present – capturing moments of spontaneity, emotion, and self-expression. The Reno14 Series brings this idea to life, making it easier to connect with what truly matters. ‘Live the Aawara Life’ celebrates this spirit – living freely, following your heart, and embracing new experiences. Ranbir Kapoor embodies this beautifully, blending classic charm with a modern outlook. And this is just the beginning there’s more to come.”

The teaser also includes a segment demonstrating the camera functions of the Reno14 Series, with specific attention to the 3.5X Telephoto Portrait Camera. A brief scene shows Kapoor sharing a photo on his phone featuring Ishaan Khattar, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Pooja Hegde, referred to as his ‘Aawara gang’. This is presented as a preview of the campaign's forthcoming chapters.

Speaking on the campaign, Ranbir Kapoor said: “Being Aawara isn’t just about going places - it’s about truly feeling them. It’s about following your heart, meeting yourself at every turn, and getting closer to the people and experiences that matter. That’s what the Reno14 Series allows me to do – stay present with what I love and feel alive in every moment.”

The Reno14 Series is expected to feature a 5G-enabled design with an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, one-piece glass back, and slim screen bezels. The device will also focus on durability and functionality, reflecting a design influenced by natural elements.
