OPPO Launches Reno12 Pro 5G Manish Malhotra Edition for Diwali

This festive season, OPPO India has announced the launch of the Reno12 Pro 5G Manish Malhotra Limited Edition, a smartphone that pays homage to India’s rich cultural heritage. Pre-orders for this exclusive model begin today, with official sales set to commence on 3rd October.

Inspired by Manish Malhotra’s iconic World Collection, the limited edition features an elegant Diwali gold colour, adorned with intricate gold filigree and floral embroidery set against a striking black backdrop. This collaboration fuses OPPO’s cutting-edge design with Malhotra’s artistry, encapsulating the opulence of Indian design.

Manish Malhotra, a revered figure in Indian fashion, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: “I have always endeavoured to fuse tradition and opulence, and this collaboration with OPPO India captures that vision perfectly. The OPPO Reno12 Pro Limited Edition melds my passion for intricate detailing with OPPO’s craftsmanship. This luxurious design makes it the perfect companion for the festive season.”

The ‘Crafted from Culture’ campaign aims to celebrate India’s artistic traditions, drawing inspiration from Mughal floral motifs and the intricate embroidery techniques of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The design reflects key festive elements: black symbolises timeless beauty, while gold signifies luxury and grandeur.

Karan Dua, Head of Product Marketing at OPPO India, stated, “At OPPO, we believe in collaboration to create something truly special. Partnering with Manish Malhotra for the Reno12 Pro 5G Limited Edition has been an exciting journey of blending tradition with modernity. This edition showcases a unique artistic vision and elevates the festive experience for our consumers.”

To achieve the intricate design, OPPO employed advanced techniques such as double etching and annealing, ensuring a rich contrast between the gold filigree and black surface. The high-precision annealing process enhances colour vibrancy and detail while ensuring a smooth, flawless finish.

The Manish Malhotra edition also features an eight-layer construction—two more than the standard Reno model—incorporating layers of gold and black plating, UV texturing, and stereo etched glass. This meticulous attention to detail establishes the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G as a true luxury smartphone, perfect for celebrating the festive season in style.
