Climate-tech cooling brand Optimist has concluded its month-long experiential campaign, "Cool Me Down Van", designed to demonstrate its cooling solutions under real-world summer conditions.
The activation featured a glass-walled mobile experience van that allowed consumers to step from outdoor temperatures approaching 50°C into an environment maintained at 24°C. The campaign was aimed at giving consumers a first-hand experience of cooling performance rather than relying solely on product specifications and advertising claims.
The campaign was rolled out through 43 activations across Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida. According to the company, it reached more than 15,000 consumers, generated over 1,000 waitlist leads and delivered early sales conversions.
The mobile experience included live temperature displays, product demonstrations, interactions with brand representatives and QR-based lead generation. Activations were conducted across residential communities, corporate offices, technology parks and malls.
The initiative was built around the insight that consumers often evaluate cooling products based on actual performance during peak summer conditions rather than technical specifications alone. Through the campaign, Optimist also gathered feedback around factors such as cooling effectiveness, energy consumption, durability and after-sales service.
Speaking on the campaign, Ashish Goel, CEO and Co-founder of Optimist, said, “Cooling is one of those categories where consumers need to experience the product to truly understand the difference. Most air conditioners are evaluated through brochures, ratings and specifications, but real-world performance matters most when temperatures rise. With the ‘Cool Me Down Van’, we wanted to bring that experience directly to consumers and demonstrate what Optimist is built for—real Indian summers, strong cooling performance and energy-efficient comfort.”
The activation also introduced consumers to Optimist's recently launched 1.4 Ton 5 Star Inverter Split AC, which has been designed to address cooling and energy-efficiency requirements during extreme Indian summers.
The campaign forms part of the company's broader strategy to build awareness and consumer confidence through experience-led marketing, while highlighting cooling performance, durability and energy efficiency in real-world environments.
