Orient Electric has launched its Independence Day campaign, ‘Chalta Hai, Ab Nahi Chalega’, encouraging people to move away from the everyday acceptance of compromise and raise the standards they set for future generations.
At the heart of the campaign is a film built around the idea that children learn from the behaviour they observe. It follows a young boy watching his parents and grandfather dismiss small flaws and compromises with a casual chalta hai. When he begins repeating the phrase himself, the family is forced to reflect on the habits they have unknowingly passed on.
Anika Agarwal, company spokesperson, said, "We often talk about the future we want to build for our children, but we rarely examine the everyday habits we pass on to them. When we normalise small compromises at home, we unwittingly set a lower bar for the next generation. With ‘Chalta Hai, Ab Nahi Chalega’, we want to ignite a shift in mindset. As a brand committed to uncompromised quality and thoughtful innovation, this campaign is our call to hold ourselves to higher standards in our choices, our homes, and the legacy we leave behind."
The campaign also aligns with Orient Electric’s focus on innovation and quality across its portfolio, including energy-efficient BLDC fans, Aerosilent fans and LED lighting featuring Eye-Luv Technology.
Rolling out across social media, OOH and live-animation digital billboards, the campaign calls on consumers to embrace #ChaltaHaiSeAzaadi and break free from the culture of everyday compromise.
