Pee Safe, a hygiene and wellness brand in India, has launched a new Digital Video Campaign (DVC) titled 'Hygiene Ki Aadat Banao, Pee Safe Ke Saath'. The campaign addresses the often-overlooked hygiene risks associated with toilet seats in domestic settings.
The initiative highlights that while many people are cautious about using public washrooms, they may not take similar precautions at home. Pee Safe points out that toilet seats, even when visibly clean, can harbour invisible germs and bacteria.
Through the campaign, Pee Safe aims to encourage the regular use of toilet seat sanitiser, both in public and private settings. The message is intended to promote a consistent hygiene practice to reduce potential health risks.
Vikas Bagaria, Founder, Pee Safe, said, “Most people assume that if a toilet looks clean, it is safe, but in reality, the germs are invisible to the naked eye. As per studies, with India’s female workforce participation reaching 40.3% in 2023-24, women are increasingly balancing roles across varied environments. With this video, we want to highlight why sanitizing toilet seats should be a healthy habit at home, in workplaces, and in public spaces as well.”
The campaign is directed at a broad audience, including men, women, and children. Pee Safe states that the goal is to encourage daily toilet seat sanitisation as a standard hygiene practice, comparable to other routines such as brushing teeth or washing hands.
The campaign forms part of the brand’s wider objective to promote accessible hygiene practices across the country.
