Watertec India, a provider of plumbing and bathroom solutions, has appointed PHD India, part of the Omnicom Media Group, to handle its integrated media mandate. The appointment follows a competitive multi-agency pitch process.
As per the announcement, PHD India will lead Watertec’s media strategy, planning, and buying, managed out of its Mumbai office. The agency is expected to adopt a full-funnel marketing and media approach, supported by its data and technology-driven planning framework.
Founded in 1997 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Watertec introduced engineering polymer bath fittings in India and has since expanded into multiple product categories including Polymer Bathware, Pipes & Fittings, CP Fittings, and Sanitaryware. The company currently operates 34 branches across India and works with over 34,000 channel partners.
