Polycab, one of India’s leading manufacturers of electrical wires and cables, has released a new TVC for its flagship product, Green Wires. The campaign draws attention to the role of electrical safety and the importance of the unseen choices that safeguard homes and families.
The film is based on the insight that consumers often prioritise visible aspects of their homes while overlooking what lies behind the walls — the wiring that ensures safety and reliability. Through a series of emotional moments, the campaign highlights how true care begins with these unseen decisions.
As informed by the brand, Green Wires+ are designed to be heat-resistant, lead-free, and engineered to emit low smoke and low toxic fumes during emergencies. The wires are made using 99.97% pure copper, offering higher current-carrying capacity along with built-in protection against rodents, moisture, and abrasion. Polycab added that the product also incorporates Flame Stop Technology and complies with REACH and RoHS standards, being free from over 250 hazardous substances.
Speaking about the campaign, Shwetal Basu, Senior Vice President – Brand & Marcom, said, “This campaign is a gentle nudge to consumers to look beyond the surface. The campaign will be promoted across television, digital, and social media platforms, supported by a channel and influencer outreach strategy, as informed by the brand.
