R for Rabbit has launched BioMimic, a 10-product baby and kids’ care range built around the concept of biomimicry. The range studies how a child’s skin and hair naturally function and applies these principles to everyday care products.
The portfolio spans skincare, bath, oral care and grooming, including Aqua Cream, Shampoo, Body Lotion, Bathing Bar, Head-to-Toe Wash, Face Cream, Diaper Rash Cream, Powder, Toothpaste and Chest Rub. Each product draws inspiration from a specific biological or natural mechanism, from aquaporins and sebum to vernix caseosa, amniotic fluid and plant starches.
The range is paraben-free, sulphate-free and pH-balanced, with products undergoing clinical, dermatological, paediatric and ophthalmological testing. The toothpaste is dentist-approved, while the brand has also made laboratory test results available on its website.
Speaking about the launch, Kunal Popat, Founder & CEO, R for Rabbit, said, “With BioMimic, we wanted to introduce a new way of thinking about kids’ care. We started by studying how a child’s skin and hair naturally function and then looked at how we could mimic those mechanisms through product innovation. This approach brings together science, safety and thoughtful formulation. We have also made our laboratory results accessible because we believe parents deserve greater transparency when choosing products for their children.”
Kinjal Popat, Co-Founder & COO, R for Rabbit, added, “BioMimic is built on a very simple thought: understand the child first, and then create the product. We studied natural mechanisms and used them as a starting point for developing everyday care solutions. At the same time, safety remains non-negotiable. From clinical and dermatological testing to paediatrician, ophthalmologist and dentist evaluation, we have taken a comprehensive approach to building the range. Making our laboratory results available online is another step towards giving parents greater confidence in what they choose for their children.”
With BioMimic, R for Rabbit is extending its portfolio beyond baby essentials with a science-led approach to everyday kids’ care.
