Riding the Nostalgia Wave, The 90’s Festival Ends on a High, Plans to Tour 10+ Cities

The recently concluded 90’s Festival proved to be an unforgettable journey back in time, as fans gathered to relive the magic of the golden era of music, culture, and entertainment at Jio World Drive, Mumbai. The festival saw an overwhelming response from attendees, with music enthusiasts flocking in large numbers to bring back the sights, sounds, and memories that defined the decade.

The two-day extravaganza saw electrifying performances by some of the biggest names from the 90s. Euphoria and Indian Ocean set the stage on fire on Day 1 and Day 2, respectively, while iconic artists like A Band of Boys, Aasma, Baba Sehgal, Devang Patel, Leslee Lewis, Shibani Kashyap, Jaan Kumar Sanu, and Ishita Vishwakarma kept the energy soaring. The dynamic emcees Khyati Udyavar, Raja Mukherjee, and Clince Varghese ensured the audience was engaged and entertained throughout.

More than just a music festival, the 90’s Festival was a nostalgia-fueled time machine. Attendees were transported back to their childhood with Instagram-worthy installations like a classic phone booth, handwritten postcard notes, arcade games, a 90s-inspired flea market, and a curated food zone that brought back flavours from the era. The festival was a sensory delight, blending the best of music, culture, and interactive experiences.

Speaking about the event, Mr. Navneeth Mohan - Founder and Director, BEW Live said, “The overwhelming success of The 90’s Festival is a testament to the enduring legacy of 90s music and entertainment. This era shaped the industry in ways that continue to influence artists and audiences alike. Seeing thousands of fans come together to relive those iconic moments has been truly inspiring. The energy, enthusiasm, and love for the 90s that filled the venue made this festival an unforgettable experience. Given the incredible response, we are excited to take this experience to 10 more cities across India, ensuring that more people can immerse themselves in the nostalgia, energy, and magic of the 90s.”

The success of The 90’s Festival was further amplified by the support of its sponsors, Bajaj Chetak, Instax FujiFilm, Jodhpur, Frooti, and Laqshya. Their collaboration played a pivotal role in bringing this nostalgic celebration to life, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.

Following the phenomenal response in Mumbai, The 90’s Festival is now set to travel across India. Fans can get ready to relive the best of the 90s as the festival expands to 10+ cities in the coming months.
