Rolls-Royce has appointed Sashi Mukundan as Executive Vice President, Transformation India. He will take up the role in October and will lead Government and business relations activities in India on behalf of the Group. He will also support the growth of Rolls-Royce’s operations in the country.
Rolls-Royce has been present in India for nearly a century, operating across nine locations with over 4,000 people in its ecosystem, including 1,250 employees at four key sites and 2,800 at Managed Service Providers. In 2024, the company reported revenue of £147 million in India.
The company is active in sectors such as Civil Aerospace, Defence and Energy, and provides support to organisations including the Indian Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, and Army, as well as commercial customers like Air India, IndiGo, Tata and Adani. Rolls-Royce’s products and services also support infrastructure including rail, airports, hospitals, data centres and industry, through various partnerships, joint ventures and academic collaborations.
