Saregama India has reported an 11.1% year-on-year increase in net profit for the January–March quarter of FY2025. The music and content company recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 59.86 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 53.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The company posted a 26% YoY drop in ad spends to Rs 19.76 crore from Rs 26.66 crore in Q4 FY24.
Revenue from operations for the quarter saw an 8.7% decline year-on-year, standing at Rs 240.82 crore as against Rs 263.05 crore in Q4 FY24.
Despite the dip in revenue and lower advertising expenses, Saregama said it has intensified its investment in content, spending Rs 316 crore in FY25 — a 62.05% increase year-on-year.
