Savani, alongside family members Ram and Jagrut, presented the legacy of their Mumbai-based business, dedicated to restoring India’s heritage monuments for over three generations.
The Savani family's journey began with Shantilal, a humble mason, who laid the foundations of the company. Over the years, the family has built a stellar reputation in the heritage restoration community, becoming one of the most respected names in the industry.
Their ambitious goal is to preserve 1,000 monuments by 2030. With expertise in traditional techniques and sustainable materials, the Savani family has already restored 300 properties, including iconic landmarks like the Opera House. Their work also involves crafting bespoke tiles, bricks, and other materials to ensure authenticity in their projects.
Shantilal J. Savani reflected on the experience, saying, “It’s humbling to share our journey with the Sharks, from my early days as a mason to building a company that not only restores monuments but also preserves India’s cultural identity for future generations. The feedback we received was invaluable, and we are more determined than ever to expand our vision.”
The Savani family’s remarkable pitch left the Sharks in awe, with Shantilal requesting ?3 crore in exchange for 1% equity, showcasing their confidence in the future growth of their business.
