Scaler has launched a new digital campaign, #NotDoneAI, featuring comedian and writer Biswa Kalyan Rath. Through humour and satire, the campaign explores the growing trend of ‘vibe coding’—relying on AI-generated outputs without fully understanding how they work.
Conceptualised and executed by Emplace HQ, the film follows Rath as he attempts to build a food delivery startup using AI. Armed with vague prompts and little technical understanding, he instructs the AI to create a food delivery platform, only to find the system producing increasingly absurd outcomes.
In one instance, the platform removes restaurants from the process altogether, while another prompt results in every customer receiving biryani regardless of what they ordered. As Rath continues refining his instructions, the platform spirals further into chaos, highlighting the unintended consequences of imprecise prompting and overreliance on AI-generated solutions.
Rather than criticising AI itself, the campaign focuses on the tendency to treat technology as a shortcut to expertise. Through a humorous narrative, the film underscores the importance of balancing AI-assisted productivity with a deeper understanding of the underlying systems and processes.
According to the company, the film garnered more than 4.5 lakh views within 24 hours of its release.
Commenting on the campaign, Rahul Kartikeyan, Chief Marketing Officer, Scaler said, “We are living through a moment where anyone can build something with AI, and that’s genuinely exciting. But we are also seeing people mistake faster execution for deeper understanding. The idea behind this film came from that observation. Biswa brings a unique ability to find humour in everyday situations, making him an effective voice for a conversation that many professionals can relate to. AI is a powerful tool, but understanding remains the real advantage.”
Through the campaign, Scaler aims to position AI as an enabler rather than a replacement for learning, encouraging professionals to combine AI fluency with strong foundational knowledge as they navigate an increasingly AI-driven world.
