Seema Kumar has announced her departure from Microsoft India, where she most recently held the position of Senior Director for Azure Infrastructure Solutions. She held the role for over two years.
Kumar joined Microsoft in 2020 as CTO, Global Partner Solutions, a position she held for three years.
She shared the news on LinkedIn, stating: “After five remarkable years at Microsoft India, I wrap up this week, taking away with me rich experiences, lifelong learnings, and friendships. Grateful to the teams, partners, and customers who made this journey meaningful, and for the chance to build, learn, and lead. Proud of the impact we were able to create together, building capability and delivering AI led transformation for our customers and partners. Now onward to the next chapter!”
Kumar has over two decades of experience in technical strategy, solution sales, and practice development.
Prior to joining Microsoft, she worked at IBM for 15 years, beginning in 2005 as a BPM Architect. She later held senior roles, including Technical Director for Cloud and Cognitive Software for over a year.
Earlier in her career, Kumar also worked at I-flex Solutions and Datamatics Technologies Ltd.
