Sri Adhikari Brothers and Prasar Bharati are set to revive the popular crime thriller Suraag with Suraag 2.0, bringing the production house back together with Doordarshan.
Doordarshan has released the first look of the reboot, which is slated to premiere soon on DD National. Originally aired on DD National, Suraag became a recognised crime series, with Sudesh Berry playing the lead role of Inspector Bharat. Its one-case-per-episode format and investigative storytelling made the show a memorable part of Indian television.
Suraag 2.0 will be headlined by Sudesh Berry, Sai Ketan Rao and Jigyasa Singh, bringing together the original show's legacy with a new cast and contemporary treatment.

The revival also marks a renewed association between Sri Adhikari Brothers and Doordarshan, which played a significant role in the production house's early years and its contribution to Indian television.
For Sri Adhikari Brothers, the reboot represents a return to its roots and an extension of its long-standing association with Doordarshan. The production house has been behind several television programmes that became part of India's popular television culture.

With Suraag 2.0, the partners are looking to revisit a familiar franchise while introducing it to a new generation of viewers.
