“India is an important market for Taboola, and over the years, we've seen strong adoption of our technology by both advertisers and publishers. Opening our Gurugram office is a practical step forward—it allows us to be closer to our partners and continue supporting their growth with the tools and expertise we’ve built globally,” said Eldad Maniv, President and Chief Operating Officer at Taboola.
With the opening of the Gurugram office, Taboola has increased its office capacity by over 50%. The team in India now includes more than 170 employees. The office has been designed to accommodate further growth.
As part of the launch, Taboola hosted a roundtable titled “The New Media Mandate: Redefining Performance in a Platform-First World.” The discussion focused on how marketers are addressing a fragmented media environment and re-evaluating key performance indicators and content strategies.
A panel discussion titled 'From Dependency to Diversification: Shaping the Future with AI, Personalization & Partnerships' featured Chanan Fogel, Vice President APAC at Taboola; Sanjay Sindhwani, Chief Executive Officer at Indian Express Digital; Abhishek Sharma, Chief Product Officer at HT Digital; and Puneet Gupt, Chief Executive Officer at Times Internet. The panel discussed the role of AI, content personalisation, and partnerships in supporting sustainable publishing models on the open web.
During the event, Taboola announced the renewal of its partnership with Jagran New Media for three years. Since their collaboration began in April 2022, both companies have worked on personalising content experiences for Hindi-speaking users and developing monetisation strategies.
