Thyrocare Technologies Limited has announced the appointment of Dr Ramesh Kinha as Chief Operating Officer, reinforcing its leadership bench as the diagnostics major accelerates scale and operational expansion across India.
A seasoned professional in the healthcare diagnostics space, Dr Kinha brings over 17 years of experience spanning laboratory operations, quality systems, and large-scale diagnostics networks. In his new role at Thyrocare, he will oversee end-to-end laboratory operations while strengthening quality and compliance frameworks across the company’s nationwide network, with a focus on enhancing diagnostic accuracy and service consistency.
Before joining Thyrocare, Dr Kinha served as Group Director, Laboratory Services at Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Limited, where he led several key operational and quality-led initiatives. His career also includes senior leadership stints at Apollo Health & Lifestyle Ltd, Medall Healthcare, Metropolis Healthcare, and SRL Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and organisational transformation.

Dr Kinha holds an MBBS degree and an MD in Pathology, and has further strengthened his leadership capabilities through senior management and executive programmes at IIM Nagpur and the Indian School of Business (ISB). A certified NABL assessor, he brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, laboratory accreditation, and quality governance.
