Truecaller Ads has launched Truecaller Pulse, a new media solution that enables advertisers to capture consumers' declared preferences and purchase intent, rather than relying on inferred behavioural signals for audience targeting.
Integrated into the Truecaller Ads ecosystem, the platform uses first-party and zero-party data to help brands build activation-ready audience segments. According to the company, the solution reaches more than 500 million active users through interactive ad formats within the Truecaller app.
The platform allows brands to ask users direct questions, such as their preferred smartphone or banking provider, before converting responses into audience segments based on preferences, category interest and purchase intent. These insights can then be used for campaign planning, targeting and retargeting.
Truecaller said the platform is designed to support use cases including product launches, category discovery and competitive switching. It also offers three intelligence layers: Pulse Signals for declared responses, Pulse Insights for aggregated market intelligence and Pulse Trends for identifying emerging consumer behaviour.
Commenting on the launch, Hemant Arora, VP & Global Head, Truecaller Ads, said, "Truecaller Pulse gives marketers something extremely valuable: direct consumer answers at unprecedented scale. When consumers tell you what they want, media becomes more precise, campaigns become more efficient, and every marketing decision becomes better informed."
Athul Prabhu, Product Director, Truecaller Ads, added, "The intelligence outputs from Truecaller Pulse extend well beyond campaign activation. Pulse Signals deliver real-time declared responses. Pulse Insights surface aggregated intelligence, regional preferences, emerging product trends, category shifts. Pulse Trends reveal what's changing in consumer sentiment before it shows up in sales data. All of this feeds back into smarter future campaigns."
According to the company, Truecaller Pulse is intended to create a continuous feedback loop that combines consumer research, audience creation and media activation within a single workflow.
