Truecaller and Zepto Partner to Improve Communication in Quick Commerce

Zepto, a quick commerce company in India, has partnered with Truecaller, a global communications platform, to improve communication between users and Zepto’s workforce. The partnership aims to support reliable interactions across customers, delivery partners, support teams, and new hires.

Using Truecaller’s Customer Experience Solutions, the collaboration will enhance user engagement throughout the Zepto journey, from onboarding to delivery. Truecaller’s Verified Business Caller ID allows Zepto to display its brand name, logo, and verified badge during calls, helping users identify the caller and respond confidently.

Zepto also uses Truecaller’s features such as Call Reason, Video Caller ID, and the Call Me Back option to add context to calls, show branded visuals before connecting, and allow users to reconnect easily, which is useful for missed delivery or onboarding calls.

Additionally, Zepto has implemented Verified Campaigns for targeted outreach through branded calls and SMS, enabling personalised communication with users.

At the onboarding stage, Truecaller’s SDK provides a one-tap, OTP-less login for Zepto and Zepto Café, reducing sign-up friction and lowering drop-offs during busy periods.
