TTK Prestige, India’s trusted kitchen appliances brand, marked International Women’s Day with a unique Biryani Masterclass hosted by the talented Chef Natasha Gandhi. The event, titled ‘She’s Got Dum,’ was held at the Prestige Xclusive Store in Goregaon, Mumbai, where over 100 women gathered to learn the art of making the perfect biryani.
Chef Natasha, a MasterChef India Season 6 finalist and founder of House of Millets, led the session with her expertise, demonstrating the slow-cooking techniques and marination process for two delectable biryanis—Paneer Makhani Biryani and Butter Chicken Biryani. The session also focused on the simplicity of cooking with Prestige’s state-of-the-art kitchen appliances.
“It was a pleasure to share my love for biryani with everyone and demonstrate how modern cooking appliances can simplify the cooking process without compromising on authenticity,” said Chef Natasha. She further highlighted how Prestige appliances made cooking more efficient while preserving traditional flavours.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to experience Prestige's advanced kitchen gadgets like the Air Fryer, One-Touch Rice Cooker, Tri-Ply Kadhai, and Biryani Pot, all designed to make cooking quick, easy, and healthy. Chef Natasha’s practical tips on marination, flavour balancing, and dum cooking inspired attendees to try the recipes at home.
Anil Gurnani, Chief Marketing Officer of TTK Prestige, remarked, “At Prestige, we take pride in celebrating home chefs and their passion for cooking. This Women’s Day, we wanted to create an event that went beyond just cooking—it was about having fun, learning, and connecting over the love of food. ‘She’s Got Dum’ did exactly that. It brought food enthusiasts together and showcased the beauty of authentic home cooking in a way that was both inspiring and enjoyable.”
The event concluded with a delightful tasting session, where participants savoured the biryanis they had prepared during the class, marking a successful celebration of food, women, and innovation.
