Fashion brand Twamev has launched its ‘Truly You’ campaign with Orry, using a two-day wedding celebration in Jaipur to present its latest occasionwear collection through a story centred on individuality and self-expression.
The celebration unfolded across different moods of an Indian wedding, beginning with an intimate Sufi night, followed by a mehendi carnival and an evening sangeet. The second day culminated in Twamev’s fashion showcase, making the runway the final chapter of the weekend and the collection’s reveal part of the larger celebration.
Creators including Roshni Walia, Ahana Raheja, Aastha Shah, Kanishk Anand, Tanzeel Khan, Chirag Khanna, Krishen Riyat, Cipia Artul, Mannat Sandhu and Khalid Walid also joined the celebrations.
The campaign is built around Twamev’s “Truly You” philosophy, which positions occasionwear as an expression of personality rather than a set of prescribed rules. The wedding served as a setting to explore individuality, self-expression and the personal meanings people attach to occasions.
Raghav Agarwal, Founder of Twamev, said, “When we thought of this campaign, we wanted to do something that felt unexpected but still stayed true to what Twamev stands for. Turning Orry’s wedding into a celebration of self-expression gave us the perfect setting to bring that idea to life in Jaipur. The new collection follows the same thought, encouraging people to celebrate who they are and be ‘Truly You’.”
The collection carries the same idea into its design language, combining Indian occasionwear with contemporary elements. Womenswear includes saris, lehengas and fluid skirts paired with structured blouses, corsetry, cropped jackets and sculptural separates. The collection uses embroidery, sequins and metallic surfaces across shades including champagne, blush, burnished gold, rust, bottle green, midnight blue, black and deep maroon.
Menswear takes a streamlined approach to ceremonial dressing, featuring elongated kurtas, bandhgalas, tailored jackets and coordinated separates. Traditional embroidery and ornamental motifs are combined with artwork-inspired and pixel-art elements to create a contemporary visual language.
Orry, speaking about the campaign, said: “Orry sabko pyaar karta hai, par usse pehle Orry khud ko pyaar karta hai, bahut saara. Which is why I am marrying myself, because that is a truly ‘Truly You’ love story.”
Through the campaign, Twamev has used the wedding narrative as the route to introducing its collection, with the fashion showcase serving as the culmination of the two-day celebration.
