Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has launched an anti-tobacco campaign across several Indian cities to mark Anti-Tobacco Day 2025. The initiative aligns with the Bank’s brand promise, “Build a Better Life”, and aims to encourage people to adopt healthier lifestyle choices.
The campaign features an installation outside Kanteerava Stadium on Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road in Bengaluru. It includes a life-sized cigarette structure emitting smoke, along with the message: “To quit isn’t always wrong.” The display is intended to draw attention to the health risks associated with tobacco use.
In Chennai, the campaign is being shown on over 40 LED screens placed in public areas. Bengaluru also has two digital hoardings supporting the message. Additionally, more than 300 display boards have been installed in cities such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Agra, Kanpur, and Varanasi.
Commenting on the campaign, Mr. Lakshman Velayutham, Chief Marketing Officer, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, said: “At Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, our mission has always been to help communities build better lives. This campaign is a reflection of that commitment, using creativity and impactful messaging to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco. We hope it inspires people to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.”
