UniAcoustic has appointed Manasi Bharadwaj as Head – Design and Development.
The appointment comes as UniAcoustic continues to expand its presence in workplace environments in India and overseas, with a focus on integrating design into its acoustic products and solutions for commercial spaces.
In her new role, Manasi will oversee design across UniAcoustic’s product portfolio, applications, and workplace environments. Her responsibilities include establishing a structured design framework and ensuring design intent is translated into solutions suitable for large enterprise and multinational projects.
Manasi brings over 18 years of experience in corporate workplace design and design-and-build environments. Her background includes work focused on design strategy, standardisation, and delivery across large commercial programmes.
She has previously worked with CBRE, JCTPL Design, Team One Architects, and Edifice Consultants. Her project experience includes assignments for organisations such as Kaiser Permanente, Schaeffler, Syngenta, AkzoNobel, Broadcom, UPS, Finastra, Emerson, and Capgemini, as well as involvement in developing workplace standards across multiple regions.
At UniAcoustic, her role will also involve collaboration with technical and delivery teams to support the development and application of acoustic products across different commercial settings.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Shabbir Rajkotwala, Managing Director, UniAcoustic, said: “As UniAcoustic continues to develop advanced acoustic products across a wide range of applications and industries, design leadership plays a critical role in how performance, material innovation, and sustainability come together. Manasi’s experience will help strengthen how our products are designed, specified, and aligned with evolving environmental standards, as we build a responsible and future-ready acoustic portfolio.”
Sharing her perspective, Manasi Bharadwaj said, “I was drawn to UniAcoustic because of its intent to build a design-led acoustic product portfolio that introduces capabilities and design thinking not commonly available in India today. The opportunity to contribute to creating thoughtful, high-performance products — rather than working within existing templates — is what excites me about this role.”
The appointment reflects UniAcoustic’s focus on strengthening its design capability as part of its ongoing development of acoustic products for commercial environments.
