VIDA, Powered by Hero, has released a new campaign ahead of the upcoming launch of its electric scooter, the VIDA VX2. The campaign introduces a narrative centred on a generational difference in preferences between traditional scooters and electric alternatives.
The film features actors Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, portraying a discussion within a family setting about vehicle choices. Anil Kapoor’s character represents a preference for conventional scooters, while Ranbir Kapoor supports the shift towards electric mobility. The campaign highlights the differing views across generations on mobility and technology.
Developed by Creativeland Asia, the campaign avoids technical details in favour of cultural commentary. A spokesperson from Creativeland Asia said, “You don’t build desire by talking specs. You build it by stirring culture. And when two generations collide, something new is born. This campaign is that moment.”
The teaser marks the beginning of the promotional activities for the VIDA VX2, which is set to launch on 1 July 2025. The VX2 will be positioned as an electric scooter intended for urban use.
Two additional teasers are expected to be released in the lead-up to the official launch.
