Vihaan Clean & Green Tech Pvt. Ltd., a common boiler and effluent treatment facility based in Gujarat, marked World Environment Day 2025 by planting over 400 native trees within its premises. The initiative, carried out in partnership with the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB), was attended by Mr. Dilip M Rathod, Regional Officer, GPCB Mehsana.
Tree species planted during the drive included Rain Tree, Gulmohar, Peltophorum, Lagistromia, Cordia, Spethodia, Champa, Terminalia, Kasid, Saptaparni, and Kachnar. The selection was based on their ecological suitability and ability to contribute to the local environment.
The activity was aligned with the 2025 World Environment Day theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution.” Vihaan has introduced several measures to reduce plastic usage at its site, including:
- Removal of single-use plastics from the facility
- Awareness workshops for employees and nearby industrial units

Vihaan Clean & Green Tech Pvt. Ltd. operates one of India’s larger Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP), built to serve the food processing industries near Fanidhar Mega Food Park in Mehsana, Gujarat. The plant has a total capacity of 10 million litres per day, developed in three phases (3 MLD + 3 MLD + 4 MLD), and employs European technology. The treated water is recycled to IS 10500 drinking water standards. The facility also houses 40 TPH steam boilers supplying steam to neighbouring food processing units.
The project supports efforts in industrial water management and environmental compliance in the region.
