Wagh Bakri Tea Group has appointed Tushar Tripathi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In his new role, Tripathi will be responsible for leading the organisation’s strategic direction, with a focus on innovation and long-term growth.
He has been associated with the group for 17 years and was most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, where he led plant operations, projects and manufacturing functions.
Tripathi brings experience across operations, manufacturing, quality systems, supply chain management and business transformation. During his tenure, he contributed to initiatives including the introduction of an Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) in the tea industry, implementation of quality and food safety standards, establishment of a NABL-accredited quality laboratory, and expansion of manufacturing and distribution capabilities.

Tripathi holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has completed management development programmes in project management and logistics management at Indian Institutes of Management.
