In a bid to revolutionise digital entertainment in regional India, DishTV Watcho, the OTT content aggregation platform, has announced a strategic collaboration with RailWire, the broadband service arm of RailTel. The initiative begins with West Bengal, combining fast and reliable internet with an expansive suite of OTT services, tailored for local tastes.
The newly launched bundles merge RailWire’s dependable fibre-optic broadband with Watcho’s curated selection of over 13 OTT platforms. These include Hoichoi, ShemarooMe, Sanskar, FanCode, Discovery+, Hungama, Watcho Exclusives, and others. The service offers a seamless single-subscription model, removing the inconvenience of multiple logins, payments, and providers.
Three bundle tiers are available: the RW Bangla Entry Pack at 25 Mbps with 1.5 TB data, the RW Bangla Super Pack at 50 Mbps with 2 TB data, and the RW Bangla Premium Pack at 100 Mbps with 2.5 TB data. Prices start at just ?349 plus taxes, aiming to suit varying household budgets and usage needs.
