Yogesh Shinde has joined Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). He will now be based in Pune for the role.
In his new mandate, Shinde has been entrusted with building Chitale Bandhu into a strong national brand, spearheading strategic growth across key consumption markets, modern trade, e-commerce channels, new product categories and export opportunities.
Shinde moves to Chitale Bandhu after an extensive 16-year tenure at Wagh Bakri Tea Group, where he served as Senior Vice President – Marketing. During his leadership, Wagh Bakri evolved into India’s No. 3 packaged tea brand, supported by sustained advertising, brand-building and expansion initiatives.
Under his marketing stewardship, Wagh Bakri’s turnover grew from ₹350 crore in 2010 to ₹2,700 crore in 2025, accompanied by strong nationwide presence and international market development.
With a proven record of scaling consumer brands and driving high-impact growth, Shinde’s appointment marks a strategic move as Chitale Bandhu looks to strengthen its presence in India and abroad.
