In light of the leadership shake up following the Omnicom-IPG merger sealed November 26, 2025, Omnicom Media’s APAC CEO Tony Harradine has announced the new leadership structure for India and APAC.
According to the announcement Kartik Sharma will take charge as the CEO of Omnicom Media in India. Along with him, Amardeep Singh will lead Operations as COO, Rishit Mehta will take on the role of CFO. Another major development is that, former Executive Chairman of IPG Mediabrands, Shashi Sinha will be the Strategic Advisor for Omnicom Media India.
Kartik Sharma joined Omnicom in July 2020 from Wavemaker, where he served as CEO–South Asia. During his more than decade-long stint at Wavemaker (formerly Maxus), he held key leadership positions that strengthened the agency’s regional footprint. He has also worked with Madison Media and Mindshare, bringing over two decades of media, strategy, and leadership expertise to his new role.
Amardeep, took on the role of CEO, IPG Mediabrands in May 2025. Prior to that he was the Co-founder and erstwhile CEO of Interactive Avenues. As CEO, IPG Mediabrands, Singh also led the network agencies such as Lodestar UM, Initiative, Rapport, and Reprise in India.
Shashi Sinha was elevated to the Executive Chairman of IPG Mediabrands India early this year. A trailblazer in every sense, Sinha’s career spans nearly four decades of redefining how media is planned, bought, and measured in India. From launching India’s first specialized media agency, Lodestar, to pioneering data and research-led planning when such concepts were still nascent, Sinha has consistently been ahead of the curve. His vision institutionalized media planning as a discipline in India—laying the groundwork for what has now become a multi-billion dollar vertical in its own right.
In Tony’s memo he named the other leaders of Omnicom Media APAC which are:
