Cycle Pure Agarbathi’s majority stake in Satvik may be structured as an acquisition, but for MD Arjun Ranga, it is far more collaborative in spirit. At its heart, the move brings together two like-minded businesses with complementary strengths, aiming to build a more cohesive presence in the devotional space.
Cycle has long been synonymous with fragrance-led home products, alongside ventures in puja samagri and personal care. What Satvik brings is depth in lifestyle spiritual products. With nearly 10,000 SKUs and a strong network of artisans across North India, it adds both scale and craft to Cycle’s portfolio. "The whole intent is that the entire array of products should come under Cycle. Our quality and trust should only enhance Satvik's authenticity going forward," says Ranga. Importantly, Satvik will continue to run independently, supported by Cycle’s distribution and brand equity. The partnership also plugs a key gap. Cycle’s presence in the North, especially in accessories, has been limited. Satvik’s vendor base across clusters such as Saharanpur and Moradabad offers quicker access and faster go-to-markets.
Growth will be driven by a mix of premium and traditional offerings, alongside the rising influence of online and quick commerce. But premiumisation, Ranga notes, is no longer about higher price points—it is about authenticity, traceability and convenience. Digital is also playing a larger role in discovery, even as most transactions remain offline. Platforms like Cycle.in and astropuja.com, along with Satvik’s digital-first approach, are helping bridge that gap.
Beyond products, Cycle continues to invest in community-led and women-centric initiatives, recognising that its core consumer base is deeply rooted there. With Satvik in the fold, the focus is to expand thoughtfully, innovate faster, and stay grounded in trust.
