As we begin the New Year, we spoke to industry leaders to reflect on the shifts that shaped 2025 and the forces expected to define 2026. For Chanda Singh, CEO, XP&D Platform, 2025 marked a decisive move towards enhanced personalization powered by AI and real-time data.
Reflecting on the year gone by, Singh points to how experiences became more adaptive, intuitive, and attendee-first. “I think it has to be Enhanced Personalization: AI and real-time data helped tailor experiences on the fly, adapting content, recommendations, and interactive elements for each attendee.”
Looking ahead, Singh believes the next phase of experiential marketing will be defined by deeper personal relevance, immersive technology, and values-led execution. “I still feel this will continue in 2026 as Personalization isn’t just about data anymore — it’s about crafting moments that feel exclusive, meaningful, and memorable for each participant.
Technology continues to elevate experiential marketing by making experiences more immersive, interactive, and unforgettable. In 2026, brands will increasingly use AI-driven personalization and responsive environments to enhance engagement on-site and bridge physical and digital touchpoints.
Consumers expect brands to take real action on environmental and social values. In 2026, sustainability won’t just be a talking point; it will be central to how experiential campaigns are designed, executed, and communicated. We will need Eco-friendly materials and low-waste setups, regenerative or circular design principles and community-oriented experiences that align with social causes.”
