ACKO has launched a new national campaign for its health insurance business with the proposition ‘For people who don’t compromise’, shifting the category conversation from illness and fear to the everyday choices people make to stay healthy.
The campaign, titled ‘Unke Liye Jo Compromise Nahi Karte’, comprises three digital films featuring creators JordIndian, Vishakha & Divesh, and Biji Basheer. Each film uses the classic Hindi song 'Baahon Mein Chale Aao' as an ironic backdrop, with unhealthy temptations serenading the protagonists before they choose the healthier option instead.
The first film follows JordIndian’s Vineeth resisting an office birthday cake, while the second sees Vishakha and Divesh skip the lift in favour of the stairs after returning home with groceries. The third features Biji Basheer choosing water over energy drinks after a sports match with his family.
Rather than focusing on hospitals or medical emergencies, the campaign highlights small, often unnoticed decisions that contribute to healthier lifestyles. ACKO positions these moments as the same standards customers expect from their health insurance.
Nitin Khanna, Chief Marketing Officer, ACKO, said, “Being customer-first isn’t a value at ACKO Health; it’s the operating principle. Your health comes first, and we believe your insurance should keep pace with the effort you put in. We’re not selling fear — we’re celebrating the small, everyday choices our customers are already making to stay well. You don’t compromise on your health. We don’t compromise on your insurance.”
The campaign also reinforces ACKO Health Insurance’s product proposition of 100% bill payment, zero deductions and cashless claims at partner hospitals, positioning these features as the insurer’s equivalent of customers’ commitment to their own health.
The films will roll out across digital and social platforms nationwide, with a broader media expansion planned in the coming weeks.
ACKO has previously used humour in its health insurance advertising, including campaigns featuring Munna Bhai and Circuit to explain product features such as zero waiting periods and full bill payment. The new campaign continues that approach but shifts the focus from explaining the product to highlighting the everyday choices consumers make to stay healthy.
The campaign is rolling out across digital and social media platforms nationally, with a wider media expansion planned subsequently.
