The International Cricket Council (ICC) has invited agencies to bid for the marketing and public relations mandate for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, which will be staged across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia in October and November 2027.
Through the tender, the ICC is looking to appoint a marketing and PR agency to develop and deliver an integrated communications programme aimed at raising awareness, driving fan engagement and building excitement before and during the tournament.
The selected agency will work alongside the ICC, the Cricket World Cup Local Organising Committee (LOC) and other stakeholders to execute campaign strategy, creative and content development, milestone activations, media relations and amplification across key markets.
As part of the application process, agencies must submit their legal details, a signed non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and a company portfolio of no more than 15 pages showcasing relevant experience in delivering marketing and PR services for major international sporting events, particularly in Southern Africa. Applicants must also provide details of the proposed project lead.
The ICC said only agencies that meet the eligibility criteria and sign its standard NDA will receive the invitation to tender (ITT) documentation.
The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 will be hosted across South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia, and is expected to be one of the biggest events on the international cricket calendar.
