Air India has launched a limited-period Points Fest for members of its Maharaja Club, alongside a sharp expansion of the programme’s partner network, which has grown to more than 100 brands between FY23 and FY26.
The move comes as the airline deepens its lifestyle-led rewards ecosystem. Today, Maharaja Club’s partner network extends across retail, travel, fashion, wellness and consumer services. According to Air India, members recorded more than 4.2 million transactions across partner brands in FY26.
Under the Points Fest offer, members can earn up to 50% bonus Maharaja Points on eligible transactions and point conversions. The campaign runs until 31 May, 2026 and covers both direct spending with partner brands as well as conversion of bank reward points into Maharaja Points.
Under the Shop and Earn category, members will receive a flat 50% bonus on purchases made with participating brands across apparel, beauty, electronics and travel. Participating brands include Adidas, Myntra, Nike, Puma, H&M and Apple.
Under Convert and Earn, members can transfer reward points from partner institutions including Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HSBC, as well as Flipkart SuperCoins and Audi India, into Maharaja Points. Bonus points will be awarded in tiers based on the volume of conversions, rising to 50% at higher slabs.
Air India said the expanded network is intended to drive engagement beyond flight bookings by allowing members to earn points through everyday spending. The airline added that participation in its loyalty ecosystem has doubled over the past three years, alongside higher partner activity.
Sunil Suresh, Head of Loyalty, E-Commerce and Marketing at Air India, said the programme is designed to make rewards part of regular consumer behaviour. “What we are building with Maharaja Club is not just a larger partner network but a fundamentally different loyalty proposition, one that is integrated into our customers’ everyday lives,” he said. “Our focus is on making rewards more accessible, more flexible, and ultimately more valuable for our members.”
Earlier enhancements to the programme included lower points requirements for award flights and upgrades, simplified cancellation rules and faster tier progression for frequent flyers.
With the latest expansion, Air India is positioning Maharaja Club as a broader coalition of retail and financial partners that extends beyond the traditional airline loyalty model.
